Bird Box is a post-apocalyptic horror film starring Sandra Bullock where people try to escape mysterious entities which cause people who look at them to die by suicide.

This premise made us think: if there’s anything that people escape from and avoid to look at as much as the entities in Bird Box, it’s spoilers.

And thus, the idea for Spoiler Box was born: a full sketch video imagining a world where spoilers wreaked havoc and destruction across Latin America, mimicking the events of Bird Box. In the video, we played with the key themes and aesthetics of the film, and took the opportunity to build the Netflix brand by referencing many of the key spoilers from some of Netflix’s most important shows at the time, such as Stranger Things and Élite.
